MGM Brakes Grand Opening Celebration
MGM Brakes officially opened their new corporate office and technology center today with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Ron Parker - Chairman, President & CEO and Jeffrey Parker - Executive Vice President Operations & Controller, cut the ribbon to formally open the new building. The new office incorporates both the corporate location and a state of the art technology center.
Jeffrey Parker, Executive Vice President, Operations and Controller, announced in Charlotte today, “We are consolidating our corporate administrative offices and technology center into one facility located at 6200 Harris Technology Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28269 to better support customers and improve administrative efficiency”. Bryan Schrandt, Senior VP, Sales and Marketing – Worldwide, added, “Combining the new upgraded, state-of-the-art Technology and Product Testing Center and the administrative offices under one roof will continue our 60 year legacy as a major supplier of brake actuators and brake monitoring systems around the world”.
An American-based company, MGM Brakes was founded in 1956 and is celebrating 60 years in business as a worldwide brake actuator supplier to the commercial vehicle industry. Manufacturing facilities are located in Murphy, NC and Cloverdale, CA. The parent company, Indian Head Industries, Inc., is a privately held, family owned business established in 1984 by Ron Parker, Chairman, President and CEO.
